Fun Times With Well Cooked Food

For a small break in retreat reportage, this morning I experienced for the first time something missionaries to Africa are quite familiar with: food poisoning. Woke up at about 4AM with diarrhea and feeling like I was going to throw up. After about 20 minutes of sitting on the toilet with bucket in hand I felt well enough to go back to bed, though I felt dang cold and had to turn off my fan and put on a couple blankets. Feeling fine now (11:15AM) but needless to say I missed Thursday morning basketball with the Church of Christ missionaries. A fun experience to be sure.
